FAQ

Questions, answered.

How is marks percentage calculated?

Percentage = (total marks obtained ÷ total maximum marks) × 100 across every subject you enter.

Can subjects have different maximum marks?

Yes. Each row has its own maximum, so subjects out of 50, 75, 100 or any other total are handled correctly.

Why does the total percentage differ from the average of subject percentages?

Because different subjects can have different maximum marks. Aggregate percentage weights each subject by its maximum — that's the standard reporting method.

Is my data stored anywhere?

No. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser — nothing is uploaded, cached, or logged.

Can I download or print my result?

Yes. Every run produces Markdown, CSV, JSON, and plain-text artifacts you can copy, download, or print.
